about

A Good Place to Be - Remixed takes the new album material further with versions from Hibernation, Greg Hunter, alucidnation, Ishq and Another Fine Day.

Seb Taylor’s project Hibernation was a natural choice for a remix given his smokey-jazz leanings, and he does justice to Spanish Blues; incorporating Tom Green’s excellent piano playing and moving the original into a completely new direction.
Greg Hunter’s finely tuned ear and accomplished production skills are evident in his remix which paints an elegant and evocative dreamscape, underpinned by a mellow 4/4 beat.
Tom Green revisits his track And Dream of Seals and creates a new mix with added contrast and focus; the lead melodic line floats above a busy background.
Chill out master Bruce Bickerton mellows the tune out beautifully with his lush and laid back alucidnation remix, setting things up nicely for Ishq’s deep ambient treatment that ends up on an island of calm and brings the ep to a peaceful conclusion.
